Unlike a lot of other fruits, a strawberry has its seeds on the outside. It's actually quite smart, because when birds peck at the strawberry, they may not finish eating the whole fruit. So by having its seeds on the outside, the strawberry can ensure that at least some of its seeds are eaten by the bird. It doesn't have to rely on a very hungry bird to finish most of the fruit to reach in the inside of the fruit.
That's my hypothesis.
Its strange that in bio, the teachers explain everything as if the plant or the animal will do stuff which is best for it. Yar you could say that it happens because of evolution, but why is it that so many other fruits have their seeds on the inside if having seeds on the outside benefits the plant? How come we have so many different types of plants and animals in so many different environments? Why not just one type of plant or animal for each environment? Just choose the best which can survive and put it there.
Well...ok.
Yay I've finally finished watching seed. Over the May day holiday. Wow they actually have a holiday named after them...how many bands can actually claim to have this? Ok.
The world may be in a mess, but it's not about to destroy itself with nuclear weapons just yet...like in seed. Haha...
Hmm. Not thinking is adversely affecting my gp. Couldn't think of anything to write for the essay, so just crapped about something. In gp, opinions are very important. So if I don't have anymore opinions, then...well....all the best to me. Maybe I can try to switch it on and off. Start thinking during gp and not think every other time. Really don't think it works that way. Ah well.
It's hot.
Blah.
