I think that the standard of english in Newsweek is much higher than that of the Straits Times. Didn't really scrutinise it properly, but from the impression it gave me... I could understand it pretty well, but it just sounded a little more...sophisticated. Or maybe it's just me. Hmmm. Yar, koped one copy from my friend to read yesterday.

Today was a nice day. And I used to say that I would never write about my days in this place. Hmm. Heck haha. Woke up this morning at about 10. Tried to study but ended up lying on the bed and taking a "nap" as usual cos I got sleepy after less than 10 minutes. So decided to go to holland v to study instead. At least the buzz would keep me awake. So yar. Went to BK and ate my lunch, then did homework and copied notes from 11 something to about 4. I didn't really notice the noise cos I was plugged into music.

Then went home. Decided to go to borders to read. Read Harry Potter! Lalala. Yep so I read Harry Potter from about 6.30 to... 10.45. Managed to finish half of the book. Going back again next week...hopefully. It's amazing how time flies when you're engrossed in something. I looked at my watch once every hour. Was so caught up in the story that I didn't even notice the passage of time. Or I just noticed that it was getting late really quickly. My neck ached tremendously after that but ah well...it's nice to be reading again. Reading is such an enjoyable thing to do. Right. My vocab is severely limited. Hinders my expression. Trying out new words all the time haha.

The canoeing team did it again. In today's newspapers. There was also a small little column for shooting, about how kar yoke beat the record etc.

And I think I'll go back to holland v tomorrow.

Studying is nice. Because I have no excuse not to study now. Just have to keep myself entertained. Ah... Everyone in the world behaves like a kid. Generalisation. If everyone behaves like kids, then kids would not be kids anymore. Cos everyone would be kids. Or there's a difference between being a kid and behaving like one. Ok I'm not going into a debate with myself. Shall get someone to do it with me. Yeah man. It's 1.40am. Shall go brush my teeth and leave the comp on to finish downloading that episode of Bleach, because it's not healthy to sleep so late. Or maybe I'll let it finish downloading.
