pierced ears......

Ah... we had a half day today! The principal, Mrs Cheng, decided to be more "spontaneous". Right. So after they had prize presentation for the canoeists, she said that she'll give us a half day without consulting the teachers to find the most suitable day with the least disruptions. So everyone ended at 11.40 today.

Before that, they gathered us in the hall to show us how our cohort did for common test 2. Well. Kept scaring us about how close the prelims and A levels were. And it did dampen the mood a little. But hey, at least people might be more motivated to study harder... Means I have to double my studying time. Yay. So fun.

So I went out with the girls from my class. Went to subway at far east to eat. Yummy. Subway rocks. It's supposed to be healthier than most fast food restaurants, and it gives cookies/chips instead of fries. So yar.

Then was thinking of going back to borders to finish reading HP. But 2 of them wanted to go buy a present for another classmate. So went along with them. They wanted to get jewellery. Went to wisma to take a look. Then walked and walked for quite some time. Good for digestion.

Then when we went to Bits and Pieces, they had this sign on ear piercing. $6 for one ear, $10 for both ears. My friend asked if I wanted. And the thought stuck. Was thinking of piercing for a number of days already. But mum said to wait after As. So...we walked out and went around. Then after buying the present, xt left. Went with jas to look for another present for one of her friends. Kept thinking whether I should pierce my ears or not, cos it was less crowded on weekdays and so...well maybe the person would have a lower chance of making a mistake? And also cos I had someone to go with me then. Asked my mum and my sis. Both said I could go ahead if I really wanted to.

So...yar. Decided to be more adventurous haha. And yep, pierced my ears. First time. Yep. I'm just worried about getting an infection. Hope it won't happen. Otherwise it might get a little troublesome. Haha. Ok. Was quite scared at first lah, but it's the sort of thing that happens so quickly that it's over in a couple of seconds.

Wonder how I'm going to turn them without the pain. Maybe it won't be painful. Hmmm. Yar have to turn them to prevent my skin from growing on them and getting stuck. Sounds horrible. Hmmm. Ah well... 1-2 months to recover.

One wonders why I even subject myself to this.

Keep wondering.
