Post Prelims. Studying and thinking, do they mix?

Hello again. Prelims are over...yay? Haha... And that means that the As are just 'round the corner. Went out right after the last paper and I've been going out ever since. And I found out that.........pool is really fun! Yay. New discovery. Pistol skills are quite useful.

Is it possible to study hard while not losing your mind? By not losing your mind, I don't mean going mad. Of course it's possible not to go mad or else half the student population would be mad by now (Maybe they are but lets just assume they're not). Losing your mind meaning you lose your ability to think creatively and rationally. To be able to come up with new ideas not related to whatever you're mugging for. To think about life, love and the universe. And still be able to study well and score.

Hmm. I don't know. Cos one person can't account for the whole student population. Sample size too small. Ho cannot be rejected.

Think that it's quite hard to do so. If you worry about your exam and your grades, you probably won't have the mood to think about anything else anyway. You'll just keep thinking about studying even if you try to think about stuff. Or...you'll be so sick of studying that your mind will tend to wander even more. Works both ways I guess.

It might be quite hard to think about anything useful when you're constantly thinking about kupffer cells or podocytes and all the different mechanisms...trying to stuff them into your already saturated brain. Trying not to get sick in the process.

When I study, I feel as if I'm pouring water into a broken jar. The water keeps flowing out from the cracks so I have to keep pouring and pouring, not once, not twice but seventy seven times. Then on the night before the exam, I'll try to dump a whole bucket-full of water into the jar and hope that not too much of it seeps out before the end of the paper. Sigh. My sis doesn't have this problem. She just studies and never forgets. Ah well. At least that's what she says.
