Today is Sunday. Sunday is today. Actually it's yesterday cos it's past midnight now. Went to Sentosa today (yesterday) with Jason, gl, xiaoting, weiling, yvonne and their friend(can't rmb her name). Tiger, xt's cute little dog was also there. Met them at palawan beach, which is apparently the southern-most point of south east asia. We walked down the stretch of beach and decided to play frisbee. Played for a while but the wind was too strong so was quite sian. Frisbee kept going up, then going down.
So yvonne, gl and their friend went to build a sandcastle or play with sand etc while jason, weiling, xt and I sat on some granite rocks to chat and watch the waves. I seem to be watching the waves quite often this year. Nice emerald green waves splashing onto the rocks. Good way to destress. Sat there and talking about everything from homosexuals to what we wanted to do after jc. Xt's dog looked so cute with his ears flapping in the wind.
Sat there from about 3 to 4.30, then we decided that it was too late to play pool so we took buses out of Sentosa and took the train to Kallang for dinner.
Weiling led us to a sichuan steamboat place. We ordered quite a lot of food, in my opinion, but throughout the whole dinner, we kept ordering more! Wah. It was ok lah cos they charged per head. We also got two bottles of Heinekein beer haha. Shared between me, jason, weiling and the friend. Heinekein's only 5% alcohol, so didn't feel light-headed or anything. First time I drank beer. Was ok lah, not too bitter but quite tasteless on the whole. Still, it was good with the food.
So we ate until we were full, which was like an hour and a half later. So fun. Think that place is better than the steamboat at Marina bay.
Then after dinner, we walked jason to lavander cos he was going there. We initially wanted to walk to the esplanade, but it started raining halfway. Bleah. So we took shelter at some...shelter for a while before we decided to just share umbrellas. We braved the rain until we reached Golden Mile Complex. Took bus 100 from there and dropped off near the war memorial. By then, the rain had stopped.
We saw the nokia starlight cinema show thing showing. Was interesting...they were showing some unreleased show on the big screen at the padang. Then we walked to suntec. Went to the wine festival thingy and walked around. Some lady sounded really doubtful when we told her we were 18. Bleah...do we really look that young?! But then again, we were in beachwear so... probably looked younger than normal. The bottles were cool...greek wine is nice. Tasted a tiny bit. Haha.
Then we went into carrefour to look at the wine there. Bought a small Breezer and shared with my friend cos she wanted to share one. Also bought some dessert wine at $13.90. We had one problem though. The Breezers had metal caps which needed a can opener or something like that to open. We tried to look for a place to open the Breezer but everywhere was closed. 7-11 at city link was already closed. Walked around and finally came to some jap restaurant to open the Breezers. The guy in there didn't look too convinced that we were 18 hahaha. But yep we got the bottles opened, drank, and went home.
