idea of free-will

Ok I've decided not to apply for overseas uni this year. Try for dentistry at NUS first.

My standard of English seems to be going down the drain. The sentence structure always seems to be a little strange in whatever I write. Which is bad.

Found this book of ideas in the I&E hub a couple of days ago. Was flipping through it while waiting. Very interesting ideas. Think it's main flaw was that it didn't really elaborate a lot on the ideas, cos each idea was only a page or two. Not enough to do an idea justice.

The book had nothing to do with innovation and enterprise.

Found this interesting idea about how God can be considered just and fair when He knows the future and is supposed to know who are saved and who are not. He is Almighty and is always in control. So where does free-will step in?

One idea is that we are indeed free to make our own decisions in life. However, God knows the future because He has a macroscopic view on everything. He has control on everything. He is not constrained by Time. So maybe He experiences time differently from us. Imagine a world map, and imagine looking at it from the top. Maybe that's how He views time and everything that goes on in each instant. So we do have free-will, but He knows what we are going to do even before we do it.

That's just an idea though. Might not be how it actually works but it's a thought.

What are schools for?
