Still holding on from the last entry, but things seem to be a bit easier these two days. Finished reading a small book about Martin Luthur. It's progress. I used to like reading a lot, was a bit of a bookworm. Used to go to borders everyday after the O levels to read. Then somehow, there was this period of time where I didn't like doing everything I used to like before, like reading, drawing, writing, reasoning, eating etc.

Well I think I might have regained my liking for reading. That's a good start. Been eating a lot of yoghurt, ice cream and durians recently too. Yeah. Can't waste my life idling around doing nothing. Pauline said it's about will-power. I'm not sure about that, maybe to a certain extent.

For your information, Martin Luthur was the father of the protestant reformation. What do I admire about Martin Luthur? Well,

1. He had the luxury to study and think a lot about philosophy and the Word of God, and made it through sane. And not to mention he changed the world because of it.

2. He held fast to the Word of God and used it as a measure with which everything else was measured against.

3. He studied God's Word so much he could quote scripture to support his arguments.

4. He made God the centre of his life. He was devoted and willing to do God's will, even if it meant a life of inconvenience and constant danger.

5. He was a bold and eloquent speaker. He defended his beliefs and stood up to powerful rulers and even to the pope.

Cool.

In his words, "My conscience is captive to the Word of God... Here I stand, I can do no other."

Hope I can learn from him. Man...
